This collar is simply the best! Our older dog is diabetic, so he gets daily injections in the scruff of his neck which leaves his neck somewhat sensitive. That's why we bought this collar the first time -- because it is very flexible and soft, but plenty strong for an active Border Collie. We were so happy with it that we just bought another Waterproof MAX collar for our one year old Border Collie pup. These collars are such amazing quality! Not only are they soft and strong, but they don't have the bulk that many adjustable collars have. Additionally, the buckle has all rounded, smooth edges so it's very kind to the fur and skin on their necks. When the collar gets dirty, I just quickly wash it off with a wet rag and it looks as good as new. This is the ONLY collar I will ever buy -- I can't recommend it highly enough!

Our eight year old Border Collie is diabetic, and gets shots in the scruff of his neck twice a day. This collar is very soft and flexible, and it is so comfortable on his neck! I love that there is no excess bulk like many collars have. All of the edges and corners on the buckle are rounded and smooth. We live in the country, and he's a Border Collie(!), so he can get pretty filthy sometimes. I just wash it with a rag under running water and wipe it dry. He's been wearing it for well over a year and it still looks like new! Our boy came from a shelter, and I just love that Max and Neo support rescue organizations!

My dog loves running through creeks and this collar make him the only thing I need to wash when we get home!
