The Rescue Dog of the Week is Gia from Garrido Stray Rescue Foundation. Backyard breeders had attempted to sell pregnant Gia and her partner, Joe, but gave up and tied them to a post in a park and left them there. Fortunately, a rescuer found them and brought them to GSRF, where they were examined by a vet, treated, and Gia was given an ultrasound. Gia recently gave birth to her five puppies and she and Joe are proud puppy parents 🙂
